Holy Grail Kush | Marijuana Strain Reviews (2024)

My great interest to try HGK (a Nature's Grace & Wellness product) is one lineage parent is Kosher Kush, a multi Cannabis Cup winner, and one of my favorites. Then, I learned the other parent, OG #18, was also a Cup winner. The resulting hybrid is the only one I know of, that won the Cup with a perfect score! That should tell you all you need to know but I promise this is absolutely top shelf in every way, from appearance, aroma, taste, softness of smoke and of course, effects.Lots of reviewers discuss flavors but those characterizations are so subjective. That said, this smoke has a pronounced minty flavor, very smooth, fast creeper in 7 minutes, then full blown in 24 minutes, and lasting well past 3 hours... on one hit !!For those who are interested, here are the numbers: THC - 1.01, THCA - 26.04, Other Cannabinoids - 0.36, Total - 27.41.Of course, effects may vary but experienced very pleasant euphoric and mellow physical effects, as well as creativity, relaxation of mind and body... and non-crashy finish. Numerics isn't an indicator of quality. Bag appeal isnt based on a # its based on aesthetics and terpenes. Your technical language about your experience is needing a little work. Cannaboid breakdown including minor cannaboids is as important as thca, thc, and cbd %. Terpenes, flavanoids, and carotonoids are associated with the experience just as much if not more than THC. Thats one of the biggest driving factors of romanticizing prior use of a particular strain. Please dont take this as an insult. Makes an excellent tincture. I use it to treat FQAD, Fluoroquinolone Acquired Disability a condition that affects many body systems especially the central nervous and digestive systems and severe insomnia. This is the first strain that has helped me sleep well in 10 years. Relief is remarkable for my neurological pain that is far more noticeable at bedtime. Got this for the first time. Great smoke and flavor. comes on right away. Very happy feelings and last a long time. Has a nice mellowing effect very euphoric.

I love me a good OG. I was bent on trying this "holy grail" of weed and was stoked when I finally got some. The smell and taste are just like what you would expect from an OG descendant, but the effects are a little more mellow. I was still pretty happy and stuff but not too energized - more like just at ease.
