Parents??

The kids like the show but as an adult you see how bad it is. The parents don’t watch their kids in the show and are never blamed when then let their kids do something dangerous. The kids are never learning their lesson and the show teaches bad manners.

Proper belly laughs

I used to watch the original series of fireman Sam as a child. Now with a toddler of my own we put it on YouTube through the TV (only the original series) and I have to say, even after my child had gone to bed I was watching episodes for the entertainment. The show is sooo funny and there was a number of times I had a proper belly laugh. The voices and accents are great and the plots, although very simplistic, are very humourous. I understand why the 3 year old me loved this so much!

Annoying, poor animation, lacks diversity

This show doesn’t really offer much in the way of teaching positive messages to kids, rather it seems to reinforce that it’s okay to take credit for something (Sam) when the group deserves the credit (the fire department). You could use one or two episodes to teach about fire safety but other than that it’s super redundant and completely lacks diversity. And the children’s voices are so incredibly annoying.

Great show for kids and I don't mind watching it either.

One of the only kids shows I can actually watch without getting annoyed lol and my 2 year old loves it. That stupid Norman Price should be evicted from the town haha, but don't think he teaches kids to be bad but shows kids that being bold will get you in trouble.

Excellent educational show!

Fireman Sam is an excellent educational show not just for young children, it's for everyone! One character Norman Price the troublemaker is always causing trouble and needs to be rescued in almost every episode. Some of the action sequences may be startling for young kids but everyone is fine at the end. And you actually learn some safety advice. Much better than other CGI and stopmotion shows.

All that nostalgic fun, destroyed.

This show originally came out in 1987 as a children's clay-animated show. It was charming, relaxing for the young minds to see, good morals, and was a creative, cute showGood character development for a children's show too. In this shows' glory years, Norman Price was my favorite character, because he was funny back then. His mom Dillys Price, was also funny. I liked the firemen crew too. They were funny and polite.Nowadays, children are being shield from reality, with shows like WordWorld, and others. The original version of this show never did that. It actually TAUGHT kids reality, like whenever there is a fire, call 911. It taught kids what to do, in case of an emergency. The clay-animation was a nice addition as well. It was nice to look at and very interesting. I wish clay-animation was still popular nowadays. The original theme song was very catchy. I loved the lyrics, and it was catchy. It was actually probably one of the best, children's shows theme songs I have heardWhen HIT Entertainment bought the show, they ruined it, a lot. *sigh*, HIT Entertainment, I hate them. The theme song is awful, it is annoying, the tune is awful, the singing is bad, and the beat is just appaling. The new CGI is also awful. It is so ugly, and the characters look hideous. Fireman Sam dosen't even look how he was supposed to, his new design is so ugly.Metioned before, Norman was my favorite character in the original Fireman Sam, now he is annoying, uninteresting, and his pranks are stupid. There are so many bad things about the modern Fireman Sam, but too much to talk about.Parents, if want your kids to see Fireman Sam, show them the older one, which I proudly grew up on. Never show them the new one. You'll thank me later.
